Pattaya Beach, holds it's annual marathon every July.
The Pattaya marathon has grown in status every year and attracts now more than 10,000 runners from all over the world, competing for top prizes.
But most importantly, it is a fun event with many locals and "Sunday joggers" also competing, participants can choose from the half-marathon, quarter-marathon, or compete in the full-marathon course of 42,195 Km.
One of the reasons many compete in this event is the absolute beauty of the course.
As a tourist destination on "Thailand's Eastern Seaboard" and one of Asia's premier beach resorts well-served by an extensive range of facilities of international standards, Pattaya City is a complete destination with all land and marine attractions within easy access.
Pattaya Beach also offers one of the most picturesque marathon running routes in SE Asia and is home of the "Pattaya Marathon", an annual international sporting event for amateur athletes, Sunday runners, locals and world-class marathon runners alike.
