Thailand to crack down on obscene movies
Thailand's Vice Minister for Culture yesterday vowed to go ahead with a crackdown on low-budget films with obscene content. He was responding to a complaint from producers of Thai movies, which are made for distribution on video DVDs, that the police crackdown had severely affected their business.

Thai models ordered to cover their breasts

Thailand Immigration Crackdown
Immigration police in Thailand arrested 280,937 foreigners who worked or entered the country illegally. Authorities rounded up 189,486 people on illegal work charges and another 91,451 on charges of illegal entry at the country's 54 border checkpoints, said Thailand's national police spokesman Pongsapat Pongcharoen

More than 95 per cent of the money-laundering cases in Thailand filed with the Thai courts in 2003 involved drug trafficking, according to a senior official at the Attorney General's Office in Bangkok.
