Dive with Phuket's Yellow Submarine

In Phuket, the recent launch of Thailand's first leisure submarine tour on the "Deepstar" is a good option for those who want to see the beauty of the underwater world of the Andaman Sea without having to learn to dive first.

Enjoy, without getting wet, the beauty of Phuket's underwater world around the popular dive sites of Ko Dok Mai and Ko Mai Ton in the Andaman Sea, known for its colorful reef-fish and soft coral formations and all of this in the comfort of an air-conditioned modern submarine.

The Deepstar is a modern tourism DS-48 submarine built in the United States, with big view-windows of 72 centimeter plus large LCD TV-screens showing views from the submarine's front and rear cameras. The yellow painted vessel is build following the most up-to-date submarine technology and is equipped with the latest entertainment systems and is operated according to the highest international safety standards for commercial tourist submarines.

The entire tour takes approximately 2 hours, including the boat transfers, of which 45 minutes are spend diving underwater in the submarine. The Deepstar submarine can take up to 48 passengers at one time. The passenger transfer by boat that departs from Rassada Port / Harbor at the east side of Phuket Town, it's the same harbor as where the Phi Phi boats depart from. The transfer to the submarine takes 30 minutes.

The tours are operated by "Phuket Submarine Co LTD" with six daily dives in some of the most beautiful waters around Phuket island. The dives are to depths up to 30 meters with each dive taking approximately 45-minutes.

daily at 8:00 am 10:00 am 12:00 pm 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm
