Luxury hotel owner and operator, Mandarin Oriental International, has announced that it will be managing a destination spa resort named "Dhara Dhevi" in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.
Due to open at the end of this year and situated 10 minutes drive from Chiangmai airport, the new spa resort development in Chiang Mai has been specifically designed with internationally sophisticated travelers to Thailand in mind and will aim to provide a holistic approach to the rejuvenation of body, mind and spirit.
The Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi spa resort in Chiangmai will also feature a well-equipped health club and spacious open terraces. All the resort and hotel structures will be complemented by interior design and technology aimed at creating an overall atmosphere of luxury and serenity.
The 3,100sq m spa has been modeled on the ancient palaces of Mandalay in Myanmar and will be marketed by Mandarin Oriental as a destination in Thailand itself.
There will be a group of gilded buildings housing specialist spa rooms and private treatment suites. A seven-tiered lobby will dominate the design of the surrounding buildings of the spa resort and will provide a serene environment for guests to relax and re-energize while on holiday in Chiang Mai.
Speaking about the Dhara Dhevi spa development in Chiang Mai, group chief executive of Mandarin Oriental International, Edouard Ettedgui, said: "With exotic accommodation and holistic spa and wellness, Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi in Thailand is set to become an internationally recognized oasis offering an enriching experience."
So, welcome soon to the Mandarin Oriental spa resort in Chiang Mai
