Tourists visiting Pattaya can now enjoy delicious international food while admiring a stunning view of Pattaya Bay in Thailand. The general manager of the Royal Garden Plaza in Pattaya, Amorn Amornkul, said that the new food court is offering tasty and trendy Thai, Chinese, Italian, Indian and Russian food at prices around 100 Baht (US$ 2,50) while admiring an magnificent view of Pattaya Bay in the outside dining area or the air-conditioned inside section. The "Food Wave" model has been a great success in leading department stores in Bangkok, but is totally new for Pattaya Beach.
The innovation of the old food court is part was part of the Royal Garden Plaza's plan to make the shopping mall a one stop setting for tourists visiting Pattaya. People entering "Food Wave" are given an electronic card which can credit up to 1,000 Baht (US$ 26) and can shop around the many cooking stalls to choose what to eat while their orders are recorded on the electronic card. Payment is then finally made when customers leave the food court via one of the four check-out points of sale.
