The TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand), in cooperation with Visa International, has launched Thailand's Visitor Card 2005.

The Thailand Visitor Card 2005 allows card holders to receive discounts of up to 30% at more than 3,000 participating venues in Thailand and mostly in the popular tourist destinations of Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Cha-am, Hat Yai and Koh Samui.

The Thailand Visitor Card is available to all individuals or families planning a trip to Thailand in 2005. The Thailand Visitor Card id free of charge and valid until 31 March 2006 .

The card is being distributed by all TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand) offices worldwide. Visitors that are already in Thailand can get a card at the nearest TAT office all over Thailand.

The Thailand Visitor Card offers huge discounts on a huge variety of products and services at: restaurants, department stores, golf courses, hospitals, hotels and resorts and spas. Participating venues can be easily recognized by the Thailand Visitor Card logo. simply present the Thailand Visitor Card along with your Visa card to enjoy discounts and special privileges when making your purchases.

The TAT and Visa International will be working in close collaboration with tour agents and local airlines to offer special tour packages and special interest activities during the year 2005
