New Thailand Taiwan flights to Chiangmai.
China Airlines has opened a new Chiang Mai Taipei flight route with three weekly flights to and from Chiang Mai in Thailand, using Boeing B737-800 airplanes. Chiang Mai will be China Airline's third destination in Thailand after the Bangkok Taipei and Phuket Taipei flights were launched earlier.
The Taipei Chiang Mai flights depart Taipei every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 9:00 AM and arrive at Chiang Mai International airport at 11:55 AM. The Chiang Mai Taipei return flights depart the same days at 12:55 PM from Chiang Mai International airport and arrive in Taipei at 17:55 PM.
The Thailand Taiwan flights to Chiang Mai was in the past operated by Mandarin Airlines, a subsidiary of China Airlines. With the switch to China Airlines, the Chiang Mai Taipei route will be connected to the extensive flight network of China Airlines in Asia, North America and Europe and North America. China Airlines now operates flights to 49 destinations with Chiang Mai in Thailand being added to the route map.
Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand, called the rose of the North is the largest city in Northern Thailand and the gateway to the Mekong region. The government of Thailand is aggressively developing Chiang Mai into the Kingdom's second air transport hub with the creation of Chiang Mai International airport .
