Thailand moves Cambodian refugees further inland Thousands of Cambodian refugees have been fleeing across the border into Thailand to escape heavy fighting between Cambodian government forces and Khmer Rouge fighters. The Cambodian Defence Minister, Tea Banh, said that government troops were already in virtual control of the Khmer Rouge's former stronghold in the northern jungle area of Anlong Veng.
